Around the World!
My New Year's resolution was to travel more. I think that has definitely happened. I have unexpectedly traveled to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; the island of Cyprus in the Eastern Mediterranean and Siesta Key, Florida. Tomorrow I am headed to Atlanta, Georgia with a group of docents from the Dayton Art Institute, an organization that I've been a part of for the last 11 years. We will see the new addition to the High Museum of Art and the Louvre exhibit there. I'm home for several days and then off to Copenhagen, Denmark. I have so many ideas for painting. Now I just need to stay home for a while and executed them. I'm still working on the car painting commission. It's going slow with all the traveling. I'm spending a few hours on it today. Tonight I have a new 5 week session beginning of the basic drawing class that I teach at Rosewood Art Center in Kettering, Ohio. If you're an artist and reading this. Shut down the computer and go paint!!!
